About Us

Prakruthi College of Pharmacy, Kolar

Prakruthi College of Pharmacy, Kolar, was established in 1992 with the D.Pharm course. B.Pharm was introduced in the Academic Year 2025-2026.

The college functions under Sree C Byregowda Educational and Cultural Trust (R), in memory of Late Sri C Byregowda, Ex-Agricultural Minister, Government of Karnataka.

Located in Thoredevandahalli, about 8 km from Kolar, the campus offers spacious classrooms, laboratories, incubation center, digital library, playground, and dedicated faculty.

D.Pharm (2 Years)

  • Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics (PCM / PCB / PCMB / PCMC)
  • Or equivalent qualification approved by PCI

Direct B.Pharm (4 Years)

  • Pass in PUC / 10+2 / Intermediate with 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics
  • 40% for SC/ST candidates

Lateral Entry II B.Pharm (3 Years)

  • Pass in D.Pharm with 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST)
  • Reservation of seats as per Central/State/UT instructions

Common Requirements

  • Indian Citizen or NRI/PIO candidate
  • Valid entrance examination score as per regulations
  • Medical fitness certificate from authorized center
